Board of Directors

Dave Morgan, Founder & Chairman

Dave Morgan founded New York-based TACODA in April 2001, served as its CEO until the middle of 2006 and currently serves as its Chairman.

Mr. Morgan has been an online advertising pioneer, in 1995 founding Real Media, Inc., one of the first online ad networks and a predecessor to 24/7 Real Media (TFSM). He led Real Media until 2001 as its Chairman/CEO, growing it from a start-up with no employees to a $54 million global marketing services company with almost 600 employees in 19 countries. A lawyer by training, Mr. Morgan served as General Counsel and Director of New Media Ventures for the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, where he helped launch more than a dozen new media businesses in the early 90’s. Previously, he had been an associate in the corporate department of the Philadelphia-based law firm of Duane Morris.

Mr. Morgan is one of the foremost experts and commentators on online advertising, the future of media and the protection of consumer privacy. He is a frequent speaker, writer, and commentator on these issues, regularly presenting at conferences around the world and is often quoted in leading business publications like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Business Week. Active in public policy, he has presented and testified on advertising and privacy issues to governmental and public policy bodies at both the state and federal level, including the Federal Trade Commission’s recent Tech-Ade Hearings. He is involved in a number of industry trade groups and currently holds board positions with both the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the digital marketing board of the Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA).

Mr. Morgan received a B.A. in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from the Dickinson School of law. He lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with his wife, journalist Lorea Canales, and their daughters, Ana and Julia.

Brad Burnham, Director

Brad Burnham formed TACODA, Inc. along with Dave Morgan, TACODA’s Founder & Chairman. He brings more than 20 years of finance, general management and technology experience to the company.

Mr. Burnham is a founder and General Partner of Union Square Ventures. Previously, he was general partner of AT&T Ventures, an early stage, technology-oriented venture capital partnership with $350,000,000 under management across three funds. During his tenure at AT&T Ventures, Mr. Burnham was involved in more than 60 private equity transactions in communications, software and Internet service industries. Earlier, Mr. Burnham was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Echo Logic, a software tools company.

Brad Burnham is both an experienced operator and venture capitalist. His first experience with venture capital was as a member of the founding team of a mainframe software company in 1984. From 1985 until 1990, Brad was a marketing and business development executive for AT&T Computer Systems. In 1990, Brad founded Echo Logic, a Bell Laboratories spin out. As the first AT&T “venture,” Echo Logic was the catalyst for the creation of AT&T Ventures, an independent venture capital partnership formed by AT&T in 1992. When Echo Logic was sold in 1993, Brad joined AT&T Ventures as an Executive In Residence. He became a Principal in 1994 and a General Partner in 1996. At AT&T Ventures, Brad was responsible for 14 investments including, Argon Networks, Audible, Avesta Technologies, Classic Sports Network, Multex Systems, Physicians Online, and Paytrust. Brad currently serves on the boards of Passlogix, Indeed and TACODA, Inc.

Mr. Burnham holds a B.A. in Political Science from Wesleyan University.

Habib Kairouz, Director

Habib Kairouz is a Managing Partner at Rho Capital Partners, Inc., a New York-based private equity firm with more than $1.5 billion under management. He is also a Managing Partner at Rho Ventures and serves on the investment committees of Rho Fund Investors and Rho Private Equity. Prior to joining Rho Capital, Mr. Kairouz worked in investment banking and leveraged buyout in New York with Reich & Co. and Jesup & Lamont.

Mr. Kairouz serves on the board of directors for numerous public and private companies in which Rho Ventures is an investor. His current and recent board seats include Avolent, Cesura, Innerwireless, Intralinks, iVillage, Sereniti, Tripod, Waterfront Media and Yantra.

Mr. Kairouz holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Richard Levandov, Director

Richard Levandov has more than 20 years of senior executive and principal investing experience in a variety of technology companies, including Masthead, at which he was a private investor and consultant to venture stage technology companies.

Previously, Mr. Levandov was a private investor and consultant to venture stage technology companies. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Levandov was a partner with SOFTBANK Technology Ventures. While at SOFTBANK, he led investments in several companies, including Personalogic (acquired by AOL) and Art Technology Group (ARTG). Mr. Levandov has also served as Vice President of Business Development at America Online, and earlier, was co-founder and Vice President of Phoenix Technologies, Ltd., a personal computer systems software company that went public in 1988. Mr. Levandov was a lead investor and has served on the boards of Valent Software Corporation (acquired by Lycos), Sombasa Media (acquired by PrimeMedia), Software.com (acquired by OpenWave), Mobilee (acquired by Natural MicroSystems) and OLiVER (acquired by LivePicture).

Mr. Levandov holds a B.S. degree from Binghamton University.

Fred Wilson, Director

Fred Wilson is a founder and General Partner of Union Square Ventures. Prior to forming Union Square Ventures, Mr. Wilson partnered with Jerry Colnna to form Flatiron Partners. Earlier, he spent 10 years as a General Partner with Euclid Partners, a New York-based early stage venture capital firm.

Mr. Wilson began his career in venture capital in 1987. He has focused exclusively on information technology investments for the past 17 years. From 1987 to 1996, Fred was first an Associate and then a General Partner at Euclid Partners, a New York based, early stage, venture capital firm founded in 1970. At Euclid Partners, Fred was responsible for a number of investments, including Freeloader, Multex, PowerCenter Systems and UCA&L. In 1996, Fred co-founded Flatiron Partners. While at Flatiron, Fred was responsible for 14 investments including, ITXC, Patagon, Starmedia, TheStreet.com and Yoyodyne. Fred currently serves on the boards of Alacra, Comscore, iBiquity, Return Path, Instant Information and TACODA, Inc.

Mr. Wilson has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Curtis G. Viebranz, Chief Executive Officer

Curt Viebranz joined TACODA, Inc. as President & Chief Operating Officer in April 2004. In July of 2006, Mr. Viebranz was named Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Viebranz is one of TACODA's original investors and has served on its board of directors since the company was founded in 2001.

Viebranz spent 17 years at Time Warner and its predecessor company, Time Inc. During that time, Mr. Viebranz held numerous senior management positions with operating responsibility for major businesses both in the U.S. and abroad. He has also served as President of HBO International, the international arm of Time Warner's Home Box Office unit. Previously, he was the first president of Time Inc. Multimedia, the new media division of Time Inc., Time Warner's book and magazine publishing subsidiary. He also served as President of Time Inc. Europe and President of HBO Video, the home video distribution unit of Home Box Office.

Viebranz is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations.

Mr. Viebranz holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
